About Me:
I am trying to put a vision into action. visionn2action@yahoo.com
Seeking a motorsports investor for "any" type of car racing...I have the natural God-given ability for racing, but I never have had the financial opportunity ( this is not a "poor me" pity party, but letting you know the truth)...it's been awhile, but I do have a background racing professional-level motocross (motorcycles), and some flat-track.
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
work-out at the gym, drive a tractor-trailer, and blog, practice SEO.
What clubs do you belong to?
Arizona Moving & Storage Association
What would you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?
I would love to go to a race school, and I would love to get into vintage, or any other type of car racing. I have competed in a few vintage motocross (motorcycle) races.

MOTORSPORT BUDGET AND MY RACING BACKGROUND

Posted on January 28, 2010 at 11:00am 0 Comments

I know, it's not a motorcycle racing website, but I just included this to give you a little of my racing background...as brief and under-funded as it was. (1972-1979)

My 2010-2015 motorsport budget, which will cover expenses for 5 years, is $45 Million USD.

I can be one of the top race car drivers in the world, "IF" given the financial opportunity...the BIG if...I can…

Who couldn't win driving the best cars ?

Read my"controversial" comment at the bottom of this page

You probably know by now that 7-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher is returning to the sport he loves, coming out of retirement to drive for the Mercedes GP-Petronas F1 team and reunite with Ross Brawn, the man who has been such a vital part of Schumacher’s career. Here, Schumacher’s shown at Jerez, in Spain, where he… Continue

What am I looking for in a Motorsport Investor ?

Posted on January 23, 2010 at 12:22pm 0 Comments

I am crazy enough to be seeking a motorsport investor at 54 years old. I have previous professional motocross (motorcycle) racing experience....but it's been a LONG time. It can be either Vintage (or new car) racing. I have always had the talent, but never the money to back it up.
I can be reached at 480-241-2331 ( Mesa, Arizona USA ).

Hi Don,
Welcome to Vintage Racing League and sharing your great photos. We are all a bit crazy to get in a race car in our later years of life. Of course we can always dream... Our economic environment does not help motorsports, especially vintage racing. Costs have skyrocketed over the years. Being prepared personally by staying in shape , and tune in with driving schools, track time coaching has helped me be ready to get back into a real race car like my 69 RIAM FA5000 Gurney Eagle. As exciting as this can be, it is no Sunday drive. Our first outing in will be at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Ca, March 5th -7th for the VARA Route 66 vintage weekend. We won there last year and the FA championship in 2009. Read more and see some great pics of the Eagle on my bio site.http://www.a2zracer.com/page112.html Wishing you the best in your quest to race.
Cheers !

I once lived in Apache Junction. I was stationed at Williams AFB from 1964 to 1966. Another airman and I lived in a mobile home across a dirt road from a cemetery. The summer rain/lighting storms were something. Kind regards. Dennis
