5 classic muscle cars that were not built or available in the US

During the 1960s and 1970s, the muscle car craze spilled over into other countries, giving birth to some epic machines that the US couldn't have. Although performance-oriented cars existed prior to 1964, when Pontiac introduced the wildly popular GTO package for the LeMans, a new era of exciting performance began.

1965 Chevrolet Impala SS comes out of long storage, complete and ready for restoration

Launched in 1958 and promoted to a stand-alone series a year later, the Impala was already becoming an automotive invasion in the early '60s. In 1965, the Impala became the first car in the United States, whose sales surpassed 1 million units in one year.

Lotus Evija X runs third-fastest Nürburgring time ever

The Lotus Evija X just ran the third-fastest recorded time at the Nürburgring's 12.9-mile Nordschleife circuit. Lap records at the Nürburgring can be a bit like statistics thrown out by ESPN pundits, which is to say, hyperspecific. Since the Evija X is classified as a prototype, Maro Engel gets to keep the production-car record set with a 6:35.183 set in a Mercedes-AMG One.

Mecum brings 3000 lots for its 37th Indy Spring Classic auction

It's one of the biggest motoring events of the year — let alone one of the biggest auctions — and the 37th Mecum Spring Classic in Indiana promises everything from exquisite Enzo-era Ferraris to single-digit muscle car rarities, and modern hypercars to pre-war vintage — and everything in between. A collection of mint-condition 1990s Hondas, anyone?

A two page list of cleanup and fixup projects mostly complete, scrubbing the floor will finish that off. I got the social media stuff back on track. I assigned someone to direct the creation of our new website. I am quite optimistic about the coming season. …
