The VRL Team

The VRL is a vertically focused, passion driven community for people who love racing and cars. The VRL team owns, collects, shows and races cars. We designed the VRL to save members money and time as we pursue our shared global passion for collecting, racing and showing cars.

Stephen Page – VRL Founder, Chairman & CEO

Stephen has extensive Vintage racing experience. He has owned and driven a variety of open wheel Formula cars to include a 1976 FF Crossle, a 1980 March Formula Atlantic and he is in the process of restoring a 1977 Formula One Shadow DN8.

Stephen's racing experiences with CVAR (the Southwest's leading Vintage Racing Club) and with international events to include Formula One, IRL, CHAMP, Goodwood and the La Carerra Panamericana were pivotal in framing the business plan for the VRL. At CVAR, he was the 2003 FF2, 2004 & 2005 Open Wheel Enduro and 2006 Formula Atlantic Champion.

Prior to co-founding the Vintage Racing League, Stephen built three successful companies as Founder and CEO of Page-Wheatcroft & Co., Ltd; ejobs, Inc and bpmx LLC.

Stephen was born in London and attended London University as part of British Telecom's Executive Management program. He received degrees in Mathematics and Telecommunications and is a graduate of Harvard's Executive Management program - Leadership in Professional Services. Stephen is a Board Member of www.riverlogic.com, a leading Business Intelligence company.

Travis is a world-class technology professional. He is responsible for the development and operation of the VRL online community – www.thevrl.com. In addition to being technically brilliant, Travis has an MBA from Tulane University.

Mike Watson – VRL Advisory Board Member and Chief Legal Officer


Mike Watson is a proven Corporate Securities and Business lawyer. Mike worked with Fulbright & Jaworski before purchasing Taylor Race Engineering, a world-class driveline solutions company, based in Plano Texas. Taylor Race Engineering support approximately 8,000 exotic car owners. professional and amateur race drivers globally.

Scott Murray


Scott is an Award winning television sports anchor and broadcast journalist for NBC in Dallas/Ft. Worth and Washington, D.C. In his capacity as a Top 10 Market Sports Anchor, Scott covered the Indy 500, the Daytona 500, Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen, Montreal and Monte Carlo.

He remains an avid automotive race car enthusiast and served as host of the award-winning weekly television program, Raceweek, for close to a decade.


John Grant


John grew up in the car industry, spending 25 years with Ford and Jaguar. After he “retired”, John become Chairman of the Motor Sports Association (the UK’s governing Motorsports body). John is non-executive director of a number of public and private companies. John continues to race Can Am and Historic Formula 1 cars in the UK and Europe.
