Cumberland Historics 2009 - Vintage Racing PV 544, Saturday Runs

Saturday runs at the Cumberland Historics Autocross event held by the National Road Autosport group commemorating the road races held at the Cumberland Airport from the '50s through the early '70's. Although this PV never competed at Cumberland, owner Ron Polimeni had wanted to, and now finally got the chance to run there nearly 40 years later with the same car.

Correction I ran there '69,70 & 71. Typo I wasn't old enough to run SCCA in 1960 :-)

Actually, races were held at the Cumberland Airport circuit at least up until 1971. I drove there in '60,'70 and '71. I'm not sure if they held a race in 1972 as I started running in IMSA in '71 and less so in SCCA.
