Hello, thanks for the welcome! I'm looking to purchase a Jaguar XK120. Prefer a roadster. I wonder if you can help me find an honest and knowledgeable person to help me find a good one. I know very little about these cars and do not want to get taken! TVB
It was interesting to see the DRW sports car. (Bob Diggory). Being an ex Lotus employee I new Dave Warwick, Jack Murrell, and another "DRW ex Lotus" chap, Geoff Oliver. I ended up working in the same mews and often used to race against their sports cars driving the Dan Margulies Lotus 7. Great days.
Thanks Stephen. I just entered the 2011 Concours d'Elegance of America, held at Meadow Brook Hall for the last 32 years and now moving to the Inn at St. John's in Plymouth, MI.
Hi Steven, Just got accepted. Now it's time to restore my 1960 Lola mk1. Now that I am retired my friend and I are working to restore it. I need the original wheels for it, it was vandalized when I got it and parts were taken. It is the same rims that were on other cars, Lotus, Elva, Cooper, etc from around that time period. If you know anyone that might have them let me know. I love British cars as well as a friend of mine. It is great to belong the organization.
glad I got accepted to myvrl.com! This looks like a great website with lots of fun info to read about. I am a friend of Michaela Jakobi and after she recommended this site, I thought I would join. I do not own any vintage race cars or any thing like that, but I do have a couple vehicles and probly share the same passion everyone here does! This is great, and thanks again!

By the way, I almost put a Jensen Interceptor on my list of desired cars, awesome car!
What a fantastic website! Lovely people, great drives & comments. Hope to see as many of you in London in September of this year for the show, go to: www.brmmbrmm.com/lbcc.bb and click onto 'Events listings'
Hi Stephen, I will gladly accept your friend invit but not sure where in this site I can respond. The link in my Email takes me to friend invite only. Sorry, but I am new to VRL and just blundering around!!- M. Rauchfuss
Two of the vehicles are sold; the MC12 and the Jaguar XJR. Unfortunately, they are not wanting to move the Bugatti 73 TC or the Jaguar Saloon at this time. Thank you for checking. Have an excellent weekend.
We ALWAYS go to both the Revival and the Festival of Speed, we have never missed one event! Lord March is so very kind and sometimes sends a Christmas card! We donot have a stand at the events as thereis too much to see and we don't want to be in a fixed spot all day long. If you or anyone else wants to see any of the mascots we can put them inour car and take them to show you. For security reasons it is best to meet up at Bonhams auction house/marquee on the Friday.
Let me know please/note: Modern Lalique is made of Chrystal glass (which has a lead mix in it). Pre-war is of pure glass.
We would be delighted to work with the VRL in all of your endeavors. Both Shane and myself have strong public relation backgrounds in addition to our advertising experience.
I look forward to meeting Wednesday and seeing how we cab help.
How are you? I added my newest play toy to the picture lineup. Picked it up in Houston earlier this week. It's not vintage but it definitely is a little race car.

Hi Shephen,
Your website is very thorough. Lots of good information. I do think that the look and layout could be a little more modern. I would like to direct you to this website and its very fresh and clean feel.
I have found that the minimalist approach is best. Can be really inviting.
Other than that, GREAT JOB!!!

Hi Stephen
Thank you for the invite to join the VRL. Your site looks tremendous and it certainly enjoys extremely high participation. The MG Car Club in South Africa has some very passionate "Racers" and a long racing history. I'll certainly pass the invite to our members and hope to meet them soon on the VRL forum.
The MG CC Northern Centre had a very succesful Valentines day celebration Run yesterday. We were joined by the Triumph Sport Car Club and had a total of 49 cars (including 2 Ferrari's) on the Run to Askari Lodge. I'll post some pictures on the blogsite http://enginenut.blogspot.co.za for interest.
Hi Stephen, thanks for hooking up as i am convinced networking is very important in life. Great to see you using a March race carand its worth noting that i know a lot of the orignal March employees and no doubt some of them had a hand in building your car. My racing worklife started in the early Reynard days where i rapily rose to cheif mechanic of a 6 car FF2000 works team. I then went moved into race car fabrication that catered for many big Oxfordshire teams including March.
After a time away from motorsport i have now returned and concentraitng on building up my business that caters for classic/historic race car fabrication/restoration/preperation.
Have fun this year and maybe i will see you at Goodwood.
Kind regards and congratulations for an excellent website

Hello Stephen, I must tell you I REALLY like the new look of the TMAH website...much more user friendly.
Of course, one can't go wrong with pics of heavily laden tables of delicious looking food. :)
