This email is to announce the publication of my new iBook Circuit 2011. Published with Apple’s iAuthor it is an image book of the 2011 vintage events I shot for www.sportscardigest.com. Not the simplest of publishers to work with Apple still produced an iBook with great image quality. Please check it out and let me know what you think. You can get a free sample of each chapter or order the book using this link.

Hi Gary;
Wonderful web you put together. Hope to make it over to Goodwood one of these days. I am on the board of a group known as MIRPA Meadowdale International Raceway Preservation Assoc. We have been collecting home movies from 1958-1968 filmed at the track and putting them on DVD as well. Will take a closer look at your site ASAP.
Thanks for the Invite.Keep up the good work of preserving the past of motorsport.
All the best,
Don

There are 5 different items there for you.
Yes, we are planing more classic car runs this year apart from the St.George's Day Run (www.stgeorgesdayrun.com), we are in the very early stages of planning one for Mid-Summers' Day on the 21st June.
Please feel free to e-mail me at gary@yesterdaysracers.com for prices and more info on the DVD's.
all the best, Gary C
Hi Gary, I am keen to see some footage of your vintage racing DVD's. I will check your website in a bit. Your St.George's Day Run to Brooklands on May 24 sounds lovely, would like to participate with the Triumph TR 6 but that weekend I am in Rome Italy... Do you organise more runs in that region of the UK? Here a link to some photo's (Brooklands archive) and some I made at this magnificent circuit/museum! See you around!

As an editor/writer, marketing/adverting 'veteran,' I do have a few ideas. Let me check out your site / DVDs and I'll get back to you with some 'well thought out' comments! Merry Xmas to you too! :)
Hi Gary, thank you for being my friend on VRL. I look forward to reading about your many adventures, learning a thing or two about cars/racing, and occasionally, hopefully, offering some intelligent feedback – or at least entertainment value! :) BLT
Hi Gary,
Well I resisted the temptation to enter the WHT this year, I was too busy there was too much press release to write after FIA GT3, World Series by Renault, F3 Euro Series and French VdeV races of the previous week-end. I did it in 2008 at the wheel of a 1980 Van Diemen (similar to the great Tommy Byrne's!), and I was out-paced by lack of mileage and a little bit because of the damp track. It was not my car, so I definitely didn't want to wreck it. Anyway I would like to comeback next year, and above all to race the FFFestival. I entered the Castle Combe Carnival 12 years ago, so it would complete my CV!
Congratulations for running such a fantastic car.
Romana
Hi Gary I like the design of your crash helmet. I found a few info about Nike cars in the book I bought early this year "Formula Ford Race Car - Anatomy and development", I guess you know it. It reads there was the Mk4 in 1968 and Mk6 in 1970. They were called "Bakers" when exported to the US! Kind regards, Romana.

Thanks for your kind words. You can see the whole series as a power point on SVRA site also as a album on my page. I recently donated these to the Museum at Put In Bay. Those were great years to be involved. I was fortunate to attend the races in 58 and 59 due to my Dad and Uncle who were involved in those days. I have more that I will add. Also will be adding pictures of Cumberland gap as well as time trials and gymkhanas as well as rallies from the same time period.
