On the heels of the alert we put out earlier this week for a stolen four-door Studebaker President comes notice that another distinctive and uncommon collector car – in this case a 1959 Stanguellini Formula Junior – has been stolen, almost literally right from underneath the owner’s nose.
So Hemmings Nation, please keep your eyes peeled for Pablo Gonzalez’s Stanguellini, stolen along with his truck and trailer between 10 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday from in front of his house in San Antonio, Texas. The truck and trailer were found Monday morning a couple of blocks away, but the Stanguellini (serial number 00196) remains missing, a clear indication, Pablo said, that the thieves had targeted the Stanguellini. Anybody with information regarding the Stanguellini’s whereabouts should contact Officer de la Rosa at the San Antonio Police Department at 210-207-7484, reference police report number 11198976.
