Leaded Fuel ban lifted by Canadian Government

Today, June 18, the Canadian Manager of Fuels Section, Environment Canada, issued the statement the leaded fuel ban is permanently lifted for competition vehicles.
This ban, initiated over 10 years ago, has been fought off one and two years at a time until now. This outcome, though the most we hoped for, came late in 2010 with the first six months imposing the ban. Lifted in the nick of time, it is expected that race tracks across Canada will not be harmed, the later reversal coming before many major events were planned.
