28-year-old wih a passion for pre-war cars.
Drove my dad's cars for a few years, but then decided to get one of my own. Recently discovered the magical universe of veteran monocylindrical cars.
What car(s) do you own?
1902 Crestmobile C Type (3,5 hp)
1936 Austin Seven Special
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
Organized the BeForTy rally this year (rally for people under 40 driving pre-war cars)
What clubs do you belong to?
ACVC (Ancient & Classic Vehicles Club - Belgium)
Also participate in rallies of the RVCCB (Royal Veteran Car Club Belgium) and the PAC (Pionier-Automobielen Club - Holland)
What would you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?
Participate in rallies that focus more on driving than on eating in expensive restaurants and drinking fancy champagne :-)
Also, I'm one of these people who don't understand the point of "concours d'élégance". Old cars should be old and muddy, not new and shiny. So chances are great you'll find me at the Creepy Crawly Rally or the Oily Rag Run in the future, rather than at Pebble Beach.
Furthermore, I'd like to see how my little Austin survives the British mud in a trial or a hillclimb.
