I have been into racing for 60 years in one form or another. I could write a book about this !!! Iwrote a book on modified alky outboard racing engines a capsulated version is posted on the Official Quincy Looper racing site.I was employed with ENCO as a fuel and Lube Specialist for 10 years for open wheel, stock cars.and with the John Mecom team winning the Road America 500.in 1964 with a Ferrari 275LM. and with Mark Donahue in the USRRC series from 1965 on in a Lola T-70
What car(s) do you own?
I owned a 1954 Jaguar XK120MC, a 1966 Jaguar E Type coupe, a 1966 Mustang 289 Fastback and a 1986 Fiero which is a 6 time national champion in the world of Fieros, a 1972 unlimited outboard hydro.
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
I vintage raced a 1965 Corvette big block at Elkhart Lake in group 6 SVRA In 1965, I was 2nd nationally with my Jag120MC.
What clubs do you belong to?
I am currently a 11 year member of SCCA, and a member of SVRA as well as the secretary/treasurer of the Midwest Fiero Clubs, A life-time member of the Wisconsin Fiero Fanatics and the Northern Illinois Fiero Enthusiasts I also write articles for race car magazines from Michigan,Wisconsin,Illinois,California and Nevada
What would you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?
I earned my diplomas at these racing schools : the Skip Barber Racing School at Elkhart Lake, and two diplomas at the Richard Petty Driving Experience at Loews Motor Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway and a Top Fuel drag racing school in Pomona California I also drove my race car at Gateway International Speedway in St. Louis and at the Milwaukee Mile in West Allis, Rockford Speedway in Illinois.
