1966 Lotus Cortina, VARA BS
1959 Nash Metropolitan
1930 Ford Model A std. coupe
1948 Norton ES2/International
1923 Ford Model T "track roadster"
1977 Corolla ex-SCCA GT-4
a bunch of new stuff.
Escort has the Quaife axles & full floater bearings, no problems with them so far. Back when racing the LoCort in 1969, I lost a left rear axle, brake drum, wheel & tire on the back straight in an IMSA Under 2 Liter race at Montgomery, AL. Got it to the pits OK, happily.
Turns out that gearbox wasn't Leeson, it was a Cortina 3 rail box with new Quaife straight cut synchromesh gears installed. Nice box, will probably race again in a friend's Mk2 Cortina GT vintage B Sedan.
I'll post some more photos of the Escort right now.
Great photos !!!!!!!
