Profile Information

About Me:
Weekdays: Aston Martin of New England, North America's first Aston HERITAGE Parts dealer for spares back to the 1958 DB4-- a rare example of a new car dealer that also sells GT cars of the 1950s and 1960s. We have interesting inventory: a DB2 project car, a DB5 coupe, a couple of 356 Speedsters, an early GT40, next to last 275 Long Nose torque tube... which may or not be of interest to you.

Vintage racing Astons since 1982: DB5, DB4GT, now DB4, and a few other cars too.

Editor of THE VANTAGE POINT magazine of AMOC North America for 10 of the 20 editions to date (and prior editor, as transition, of the predecessor magazine in the 1980s)
What car(s) do you own?
Aston Martin DB4/537/L

1974 Datsun 260Z (from a college pal in Pomona; who can resist a perfectly preserved California car?)

1989 Thunderbird Super Coupe 5- Speed Manual (first application of the Eaton Supercharger; the next was the DB7 I-6).

1932 Chevrolet Fire Engine, built by Village Fireman of Wisconsin, my first vehicle at age 16 when it had 1,247 miles, now with 7,000 miles.
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
VSCCA, SVRA, VSCDA, AMOC events of course.

I'd love to run in the Monterey Historics again (1989 was a long time ago!)
What clubs do you belong to?
AMOC,
VSCCA,
ABC,
Amicale Facel Vega (we can meet in a phone booth in this neck of the woods)

Past member of SVRA (back to 1982 when it was Southeast Vintage Racing Association, as Ford Heacock was building it to a great organization) and also the VSCDA when we lived in the Great Lakes region.
What would you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?
vintage racing since 1982

tremendously enjoyed the NEW ENGLAND TOUR 1000 with vintagerallies.com (won the inaugural year, after an airborne finish atop Mount Equinox)
Location
21 Anis Road
