I am a retired attorney who has been interested in cars since I was 6 or 7 years old. I got a 1937 Ford convertible ($50.00) for my 12th birthday. I took it apart, put it back together and got it running. I started racing in 1965 and have raced off and on ever since.
What car(s) do you own?
I own a 1980 Grand Touring Pinto race car, a 1972 240Z, a 1967 Lotus Elan, a 2002 Honda Accord and a 2005 F-350 pickup. My wife owns a 2005 BMW convertible.
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
I presently race in SCCA regional racing. I guess both the car and the driver are vintage.
What clubs do you belong to?
Sports Car Club of America; Lotus Club
What would you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?
I ran a vintage race, the Turkey Bowl, at Summit Point a couple of years ago and enjoyed it . I have been to busy with SCCA to do any more vintage events.
