this is what the mk.3 looked like ready for delivery to the customer, with the original rear body section. later i had to add cooling air scoops for the brakes (fade you know). we found with the 1.6 litre engine larger rear tires & wheels were required to prevent loss of control over humps, so cutouts were made in the sides.
