Winning Porsche from the 1973 Sebring 12-Hour

Philip Basil is from England and he purchased and totally refurbished the Peter Gregg - Hurley Haywood Porsche Carrera RSR that won at Sebring in 1973. That was the year that IMSA took over Sebring and essentially saved it from oblivion. Mr. Basil and his car is pictured here at this year's Sebring race. He was invited to bring the car over to the U.S. for the 40th anniversary of IMSA at Sebring.
