Steve McQueen & Tony Adamowicz at Sebring 1970

Steve McQueen in his second place Porsche 908/02 is side-by-side with Tony Adamowicz in his NART Ferrari 312P at Sebring 1970. Following them down the back airport straight at Sebring is the Austin-Healey Sebring Sprite of Janet Guthrie. McQueen and Co-driver Peter Revson finished 2nd and first in class. Guthrie and co-drivers Rosemary Smith and Judy Kondratiff finished 19th overall and first in class while Adamowicz and Luigi Chinetti, Jr. failed to finish due to overheating. The Adamowicz/Chinetti car was the same one that ran for over five hours without coolant at Daytona six weeks earlier and finished 5th overall.
