Steve McQueen's Porsche 908/02 at Sebring 1970

Steve McQueen and Peter Revson drove this 3-liter Solar Productions Porsche 908/02 to a surprising second place finish at the legendary 1970 12-Hours of Sebring. At one point, late in the race, the car was actually leading but a determined effort on the part of Mario Andretti in a borrowed 5-liter Ferrari 512 won the day for factory Ferrari. The 1970 Sebring race was the only points win for a factory Ferrari 512 in the two years they competed with the legendary Porsche 917.
