Hi Dennis - It's put on my the HMSA on May 1 - 3. The url is: www.renohistorics.com. This year is a tribute to the Corvette with Bob Bondurant. It's a pretty "low key" event. The track itself is interesting from the driver perspective but limited for spectators. There's not a lot of access or photo opportunities unless you have a press pass or special access. It's very similar to how the SCCA was back in the 60's and 70's in that there's very little in the way of track improvements. I've re-located from the SF Bay Area up to Reno - so this is the closest track - about 40 minutes east of here. Feel free to write me a dl95409@yahoo dot com. Thanks, Darrell

DL. Tell me about the Reno event. Has any one posted onto MyVRL the Reno info? What organization is putting it on? Are you located in N. Cal?
Hi Dennis - thanks for the compliments! I've been checking out your shots too. I recall this was during one of the early practice sessions - Thursday maybe? Just after this I fell off the garbage can I had climbed up on to get a better shot and smashed one of my cameras!

I may have been standing next to you? This is a very nice image. Is it practice, qualifying or the race? Hope you have more images.
