Porsche 910 at Sebring 1967

Jo Siffert and Hans Herrmann drove this factory Porsche 910 to a 4th place finish at Sebring in 1967. In the background is what appears to be a C-119 Flying Boxcar. For many years during this period in time the Sebring facility had businesses that dismantled surplus aircraft for parts and also converted aircraft to be used as executive aircraft. Some of the planes were refurbished for use by the military in Vietnam. SIR Photo.
