In 1988, Jan Lammers – Johnny Dumfries – Andy Wallace win the 24 Heures du Mans with the Jaguar XJR-9 LM, closely followed (2:36:850) by Hans-Joachim Stuck – Klaus Ludwig – Derek Bell in Porsche 962 C. Nine laps behind the winner, Stanley Dickens – John Winter – Frank Jelinski, in another Porsche 962 C, finish third – on 23 October 2011, I have the privilege to meet this impressive white and blue machine, driven by Wayne Park – Peter Harburg during the Algarve Historic Festival at Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, in Portimão. The team finishes the Group C Championship race with a fourth place in the C1 category (7th overall).

A nove voltas do vencedor, Stanley Dickens – John Winter – Frank Jelinski, em outro Porsche 962 C, terminam em terceiro – a 23 de Outubro de 2011, tenho o privilégio de conhecer esta impressionante máquina branca e azul, conduzida por Wayne Park – Peter Harburg durante o Algarve Historic Festival no Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, em Portimão. A equipa termina a corrida do Group C Championship com um quarto lugar na categoria C1 (7º na geral).
