Martini & Rossi Racing Team at Daytona 1971

The Martini & Rossi Racing Team of two Porsche 917Ks that failed to finish at Daytona in 1971. Both cars succumbed to accidents. Helmut Marko and Rudi Lins drove #3 and the #4 car was driven by Vic Elford and Gijs van Lennep. Elford was at the wheel when his tire blew and he hit the wall. Mark Donohue in his Ferrari 512M tried to avoid him and got hit by another car causing enough damage to prevent him from winning the race..
