The Vic Elford - Gijs van Lennep Martini & Rossi JPorsche 917K at the 1971 Daytona 24. The Martini & Rossi team had two 917s entered and both failed to finish due to accidents. For the second straight year Pedro Rodriguez in a John Wyer Gulf Porsche 917K would win.
