Built in '51 in Souther CA for sports car racing. It is believed my father built at least 3 possibly 5 for others. This car is equipped with his "Copper Flow" brake drums in which he developped a process to braze copper fins to the brake drum OD for improved cooling. This car is a time capsule of the then current technology- strocked flathead, 3 97s, Isky, Offy, 39 Merc axles, Zephyr gears, lincoln radiator, banjo steering wheel.

I learned tonight that Chuck Manning and Ron Dona developed copper breaks sometime in the fifties. Your dad may have worked with them.  Culver city wasn't so far away from where Chuck and Ron worked at Douglas aircraft in Long Beach. I have a magazine add from 1957 where your dad tried to sell the car.
