An old friend was killed in this car on the Mille Miglia in 1990 I think (I have a photo I took of them before the start). His wife went through a difficult restoration to take the car from a crushed crescent to what you see. She asked me to drive it at Sears Point and twice at Laguna Seca before she sold it to John Grossetto. John asked me to share the car with him in Italy. A mix of painful and pleasant memories.
