On 5 July 1970, David Weir drives GT40P/1078 during the 500 Km de Vila Real, but does not finish the race, apparently due to overheating – forty one years later, on 24 September 2011, it’s nice to see this Ford GT 40 again in Portugal, driven by Claude Nahum during the Classic Endurance Racing at Autódromo do Estoril. It is now painted in a light metallic green close to the original Borneo Green – at Vila Real it was painted in dark blue with an orange stripe.
