I was fortunate to be invited (virtual elbow in the ribs) to meet my good friend Eddy, who met me at LAX (along with another friend) in a pair of Scorpions. We caravaned up and attended the Concorso and Monterey Historics, then drove back to LA (I just barely made my plane), they drove on to their homes in San Diego. Both 30 year old Lancias ran great, we had a terrific time. I was encouraged to drive my Scorpion more often! The scope and caliber of cars we saw that weekend was incredible. I recognized some from magazines that I read as a kid. I actually got goose bumps going through the paddock at Monterey!
