The year was 1952 and soon to be legend Carroll Shelby wanted to do a little road racing. He did it in this 1949 MG TC Roadster and, as the saying goes, the rest is history. In 2008 this car sold at a Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Even in Las Vegas for $313,500. It was the highest price paid for a car at that auction.
