Not quite vintage racing, but a WW2 Jeep chassis was raced post WW2 with a Steyr V8 engine in it!
This is my then 1944 Ford GPW Jeep at Omaha Beach Normandy on the 1994 tour.
This Jeep did drive superbly and was probably the ebst car I ever owned nect to my 1930 MG Special
