Yes, he did - I went with him as a gofer in '76. He had it all blue with a gray primered nose after a thump for most of '76 then I got it painted "McLaren" orange before going to Atlanta (actually Chevy Blazer Tangerine orange, but close enough). I'll have to find a a couple pics and scan them to share here.

Is this the same car that Lee Fjellanger was racing in the Seattle area in SCCA in '76 & later?
