Thanks... actually, I am not driving the car in this photo... the original owner, Bob Colaizzi is driving. Bob rescued this TD from a Dayton, Ohio truck junk yard, in 1985, built it as a vintage racer, and began campaigning it then. At the very first SVRA Collier Cup, in 1985 at Watkins Glen, he not only ran it, but won the Collier Cup that year! 2009 was the 25th Anniversary of the Collier Cup, and I thought it would be neat to have him back in the car for the 25th running, and Bob readily agreed! Of course, now he races (at age 74... I just love it... ) a Lotus Super Seven, which is fasat as heck, and so I think getting back into the TD was a bit of a letdown!!! I am just glad that when he got out of the car after the race, he didn't come down the pit lane syaing, "What the bloody h*ll did you guys do to my race car?"....LOL!!!!
