1938 4¼ Bentley

Rebuilt 1966-69 by Johnnie Green, author of Bentley, 50 Years of the Marque, for me, his stepson and owner of the car to this day. The number plate, which shows my year of birth and initials, was purchased in 1973, long before personalised plates became the fashion, from a family friend who had it on her Triumph Herald. The car cost £20, the plates were kept, and the car sold for £19. Those were the days.
