SHO National Convention coming to VIR

WEDNESDAY - JULY 20th, 2011

Track day: VIR (Virginia International Raceway)
Every year we include a track day at a nearby track and this year we REALLY worked hard to include Virginia International Raceway! While it IS a 3 hour drive from the Charlotte hotel, this is a Grade A facility and track that will have you enjoying every moment of it! Price is $280 per car, with a discount for additional family members (spouse, sibling, child) driving the same car. We HOPE to be able to provide lunch as well, but we have to make sure the track rental costs are covered first! Otherwise there will be a concession stand at the track that will be open.
 
This event is also open to our friends at AutoInterests and the Taurus Car Club! If you are not a member of one of those groups, and still want to attend, please contact me directly at 309-349-2800!
  
Convertibles without roll bars will not be permitted to run except during the parade laps at lunch. A light bar is not considered a roll bar. Bolt-in roll bars are permitted (factory installed functional rollover protection will also be permitted).

2011-06-10: This just in and verified by the track and insurance, helmets rated 2000, 2005 OR 2010 are allowed on the track!
