Hi thanks for that --ive finnished engine now and is running great -- have all the drawings on computor now --for any future referance. - There does seem to be trouble with this engine getting oil pressure up --have found some debry in oil pump which dropped pressure also the spring in the pump would seem to be criticle. kind regards Brian
BSOC discussing getting new oil pump pressure relief springs made at present.
Inspect oil pump closely to check that oil does not escape out of bottom plate when hot.
(shadow marks on plate on the inside.) Sometimes better to make a slightly thicker base plate.
