Event Description

Come join us for the first annual Spring Thaw Classic Car Adventure!

The Spring Thaw is a non-competitive budget-minded 3-day driving adventure for pre-1979 touring and sports cars. This is for those who enjoy spirited driving on some of the most challenging and beautiful roads in the world, located in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Concours cars are more than welcome, but we also encourage those less-than-mint, hard-driven, budget classics to take part. Enthusiasm for driving old, unreliable cars counts more than anything!

- Route Book, Hotels, Decals, Swag and Awards included in your entry fee.
- No special equipment or knowledge is required.
- May 1st to 3rd, 2009

Early entry fee is $325 CDN ($285 USD), and is valid until March 15. Final entry will close on April 10th, 2009.

Please let your friends, even those who don't own a 510, know about the event. Our event is open to sport, touring and classic cars from 1979 and earlier. Sorry, no trucks or motorcycles. Think you've got a car that fits, but doesn't meet the age category? Feel free to email us. Seriously, we're not likely to turn away your Delorean DMC-12 or original GTI if you can convince us.

More information is available on our website www.touringadventure.com. Any questions can be asked here or emailed. We're looking to get a good mix of cars from all makes and models, and would love to have you join us.
