July's meeting was the largest meeting since the USA Essex rebels was formed, over a dozen participant's and thanks to our newest members Roz & Peter with a beautiful Tr3. BBQ was great with sausage & pepper as well burgers. this meeting included the start of building a club racer 1963 Triumph Spitfire.

anyway tr up date how aboult trying to fit a 16 valve ford escort engine in the tr7 at least its at the right garage to do it or even a ford siera cosworth engine they fit in nearly everything it would realy shift then change it to right and drive export it here and i bet it would not belong before you got a good price for it

thought it mite be strange cooking chips outside we did it at the 2008 tr drivers weekend national and the fryer blew up all the electrics to the camp kevin morton chairman had to be brave and stick his had in the power box i got stuck with 56 lb of potatos that i was cutting for chips in the end we just did bacon rolls and hot dogs and the members went home with bags of potatos at £2 a bag all the money made went to buy a guide dod for the blind
