Professional race teams use understanding and techniques they have learned by working with race cars daily for their entire careers. Bundy and Metcalf each have long and very successful careers in racing since the 70s, and will give their knowledge to you.
All types of cars will be covered.
Intended for veteran drivers and novices, too.
You will learn:
How the setup of the car affects the way you drive it
The four conditions for which you must set up a car
When to use reference points on the track and when to use your position relative to turn features
As a driver, how to approach different car types that you might drive
Understand what your tires are telling you, both on and off the track
How to adjust your shocks to improve lap times
Pro tactics for keeping a competitor behind you
How to select the right gear ratios for any track
How to setup and drive differently in the rain
Why important alignment specs for one car may be different for another
