Barbara Weaver, R.I.P.

I have unfortunately received word from her daughter Valerie Clark that Barbara Weaver, wife of ARCA and early SCCA member George Weaver, passed away on December 26, 2010.

Born Barbara Frances Weisse on August 29, 1927, Barbara’s story becomes particularly interesting to members of this site when, in 1950, she attended a hill climb at Mt. Equinox, VT at the suggestion of her friends Peggy and Phil Cade (Phil owned and raced both a Maserati V8Ri as well as a 250F.) It was at this…
