Hi Conor
Thank you for the kind and informative note.
I'd like you to think about becoming an Advisory Director to the Vintage Racing League.
Ideally we will recuit 25 well placed aficinardos globally that can help lead the fullfillment of our 1+ million MyVRL member objective by 2011.
Without having met you, I suspect that we would get along very well.
Could you be available for a call next week to discuss?
Warmest regards - Stephen

Many thanks for the warm words! Our goal, all along has been to make VR a truly international publication. As such, we strive to keep an editorial balance of 1/3 from the UK/Europe, a 1/3 from the U.S. and 1/3 from Australia/NZ. I think this enables everyone to enjoy a little of their home market, will also being able to sample more exotic fare from other countries. Again many thanks for your kind words and support of VR. Now please encourage your friends to subscribe as well!
All the best,
Casey Annis, Editor

Hi Conor
We have a lot of new sources recommending our site (as opposed to personal invitations from me).
I'm following up the new "no name" or "number name" members with the following email:
BTW - when you get a moment, please add your full name to your "My Page" record.
Warmest regards - Stephen

We will improve this process (and the uniformity of our membership registration process) when we invest in Web 3.0 systems.
Phase 2 of our development...................................
Many, many thanks again for your caring concern.
Stephen

Hi Conor
Thank you for your excellent suggestion.
I'll ask our CTO to implement it.
When we get together, I'll tell you about Ms Gabriella Ferrari Titalotti, who was very keen to share her Brazilian wares with all MyVRL Members that cared to visit.
Be careful, your be "full time" before you know it :-))
Warmest regards - Stephen

hi Conor

hope you're well -- yes the Aston was sold to a Swiss buyer. GBP being so low means you can buy Astons for little money in EUR or CHF terms. We are taking delivery of an Aston Vantage GT4 on Monday and am looking forward to our first test of the car on Goodwood on 23rd Feb which we managed to hire exclusively for us. Let me know if you want to join that day. Lookig forward to see you soon. Karsten

Many thanks Alexander, yes you were right my first race in the Aston in 2003 at Snetterton and i got blacked flagged for ignoring a black and orange flag and fined £50 for the privilege. It only got better from then on. My family were all there for the great occasion and the commentator said over the loudspeaker that it was my first race at 60 years old,"What a naughty boy" which has stuck with them ever since !
