DESCRIPTION:The Spring Sprints is an annual event with approximately 1
 50 pre-1970 racecars that have been restored to mint condition and wil
 l be competing on the 2 1/4-mile challenging road course at PR. Specta
 tors will have the chance to view a variety of rare cars from the past
 , including Porsches, Lotuses, Alfa Romeos, Corvettes, Austin Healeys 
 and many more. A special feature of the 2009 Spring Sprints will be a 
 grid for Under 2-liter TransAm cars from 1966-1969. Racing will take p
 lace from 9:00a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  on Sunday. Tickets may be purchased at the gate. Adults are $10 per p
 erson, children 7 to 16 are $5, and children 6 and under are free. (se
