 merican employees to attend Ford-Cobra-Shelby Reunion scheduled for Po
 mona, April 19-21, 2012.\n \n“Former Shelby American employees firs
 t held their annual reunion at the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum
  in 2009.” Said organizer Bob Shaw. “The NHRA Museum is the perfec
 t venue if for no other reason than the fact that the first Cobra was 
 assembled by hot rodders at Dean Moon’s shop in Santa Fe Springs in 
 1962.\n            “As we are celebrating the 50th Annive
 rsary of Cobra this year we felt it appropriate to hold the 14th Annua
 l Employees Reunion in conjunction with the Museum’s Ford-Cobra-Shel
 by Reunion.  We’ll be there in force throughout the weekend for mos
 t of the events including the Friday night panel discussion and, of co
 urse, the banquet honoring Carroll Shelby on Saturday.”\n \n“We�
 �re extremely excited to welcome the former Shelby American employees 
 back to the NHRA Museum.” Commented NHRA Museum director Tony Thacke
 r. “This is going to be an exciting event with lots of Cobras coming
  out of hiding. To have the guys who built them there is very special.
 ”\n \nScheduled for April 19-21, the Ford-Cobra-Shelby Reunion is a
  3-day fun fest for all Cobras, Ford, Lincoln and Mercury (FLM) vehicl
 es including trucks and Broncos, all Ford- and FLM-powered vehicles, i
 ncluding GT40s and Ford GTs as well as all Shelby vehicles.\n \nThe l
 ist of activities is still being developed but will include:\n \n\n3 
 Days of Open Track on the historic Pomona Road Race Course (1956-’63
 ) organized by Mid America Ford Team Shelby.  \nA new exhibit honori
 ng the Cobra’s 50th birthday presented by Racing Division and curate
