DESCRIPTION:The 2010 Put-in-Bay Road Races Reunion celebrates the race
 s held on the public roads of Put-in-Bay, OH from 1952 to 1959 and in 
 1963. A special effort is being made to gather the actual race cars an
 d the people who participated in the Put-in-Bay races, but all with an
  interest in preserving the history of ‘50s sports car racing are in
 vited to attend this casual, low-key gathering. Put-in-Bay is a small 
 island in Lake Erie located just a 30-minute ferry ride offshore Cataw
 ba Island, Ohio which is about 40 miles east of Toledo. With helpful s
 ponsorship from beverage distributor Maple City Ice Company of Norwalk
 , OH, this event is the brainchild of staff and volunteers associated 
 with Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (www.svra.com). Proceeds ben
 efit the Put-in-Bay Road Races archive of the Lake Erie Islands Histor
