Can anyone advise on a Buick/Ford conversion kit ( either v8 or v6 ) for the Triumph Stag. As much as I long for the original the old BL v8 is testing me more than my x-wife!

Any advice would be very useful indeed.

I would suggest a lexus V8 or V6 far better engine that is light and reliable if its not going to be original may as well be reliable I say
Hi Craig

Thanks for your contact. Do you know if a conversion kit is avaible to simply replace the engine with the Lexus? or perhaps this would indeed be a custom shop job?

Thanks again

Alan
I have seen the stock car boys in NZ fit them and sooooo reliable. Like most convertions i would say you need an adapter plate but with CNC machines these days it sould be an easy fix with not alot of tweeking you can easly get 300 BHP from a stock engine with tuned length headers. search the net and I will do the same for info for you quad valve with 32 valves all alloy engine thats bullet proof good luck
