Howdy- I've disassembled a 1952 Jensen for a builder to use the body on a BMW chassis.the car was in a field in the New Mexico desert for many years.the frame was all rusted and the body has many bullet holes, but is still very good.after inspecting the transmission, it is obvious it is a low mileage unit. Many imported vehicles came west and were left behind for various reasons; usually a minor problem that none of the locals were equipped to handle.I wish to sell the driveline.Ive sold many parts through Ebay and Hemmings, have shipped worldwide for decades. The driveline is complete, and original, from fan blade to driveshaft.my aking price is $3,000.00 and a $250.00 crating fee.shipping is paid by the buyer.can be reached by phone at 505-281-4576 in New Mexico. any questions ? thanks -mike burger

Hi Mike, do you realise that you have found an extremely rare car? Only 88 of these were built between 1948 en 1957. I own one myself, one of only 4 left hand drives built.
Could you please tell me some more about the car you have? Is it left hand drive, what is the VIN? There should be a brass plate on the firewall next to the wiper motor. Your reply would be appreciated.

Mike, the international Jensen owner clubs - always looking for "lost" Jensens - were thrilled to read your post. As the car you found is one of only 88 built, knowing the VIN and preferably more details is very valuable to us Jensen afficionados......... I left a message on your answering machine a week or so ago as we are really anxious. Would you please be so kind to let us know the VIN - and if present - the registration number of the car?
Thanks, Han (chairman of the Dutch Jensen club)
Howdy Han. -hope you recieved the numbers i sent months ago. still wondering if the jensen club ,or you,are interested in purchasing the drivetrain and other parts.if not we will be posting the parts on Ebay. thanks mike burger
Hi Mike, did you indeed email the numbers? I did not receive anything, so if you sent the numbers something must have gone wrong ??
I have posted all info and photo of the car in the UK and Dutch clubwebsite. Someone may be interested, one never knows.
Would you mind sending the numbers once more please?
Thanks and regards, Han
