Hi Don,
Welcome to Vintage Racing League and sharing your great photos. We are all a bit crazy to get in a race car in our later years of life. Of course we can always dream... Our economic environment does not help motorsports, especially vintage racing. Costs have skyrocketed over the years. Being prepared personally by staying in shape , and tune in with driving schools, track time coaching has helped me be ready to get back into a real race car like my 69 RIAM FA5000 Gurney Eagle. As exciting as this can be, it is no Sunday drive. Our first outing in will be at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Ca, March 5th -7th for the VARA Route 66 vintage weekend. We won there last year and the FA championship in 2009. Read more and see some great pics of the Eagle on my bio site.http://www.a2zracer.com/page112.html Wishing you the best in your quest to race.
Cheers !

I once lived in Apache Junction. I was stationed at Williams AFB from 1964 to 1966. Another airman and I lived in a mobile home across a dirt road from a cemetery. The summer rain/lighting storms were something. Kind regards. Dennis
