Hello all Jaguar owners!
I organise tours and events for the Jaguar XK Club, the E-type Club and the Jaguar Drivers' Club. We have some great tours planned over the next three years, mainly in Europe, but also planning to visit the US in 2011. Don't forget that it's the 50th anniversary of the E-type next year too - we are planning two great tours, with 9600 HP (the original launch car) and 848 CRY, the care from the Italian Job film.
And for anyone heading to Le Mans Classic this summer, we are organising tickets and passes for XK and E-type owners, and also some wonderful accommodation.
See www.classictravelling.com for full details on all our tours and events.

Greetings to all the Members of this Jaguar Group.
I am the creator of a sister site to this VRL network but instead my site is aimed specifically at Jaguar E-Type, XK 120/140/150 and pre-1967 Saloons Owners. My Jag site is known as the Jaguar Social Network (JSN). It is the first social network in the world dedicated to a single Marque of classic/vintage cars.

I urge all of you who own any of these iconic vehicles to join JSN. It is by far the best interactive tool for communicating and sharing information between members worldwide. On the site you will also find world renown Jag experts. To signup all you will need is the Chassis Number or VIN Number of your vehicle/s. Membership is free.

I have spoken to Stephen Page by telephone who has given his blessing to letting me inform this group of the Jaguar Social Network. Thanks Stephen.

Hey guys!

This group is great, who can argue against the beauty of a Jaguar E-Type?

I thought you Jag fans might be interested to learn that our film production produced a TV-series called GT-RACER, featuring races with some great Jaguar's, especially at the Nurburgring in Germany and The Porto Street Circuit in Portugal!

GT-RACER is now out on DVD. You can see trailers on the director's page on the VRL here:
http://www.myvrl.com/profile/AlexanderDavidis

You can also order the DVDs here:
http://www.spiritlevelfilm.com/shop/product.php?productid=16159&cat=248&utm_source=jgfilm&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=gtracer

For VRL members we put in a great discount that you get by entering this discount code: "JGFILM"

Hopefully we get some feedback how you liked the films.
We have a group on the VRL to discuss them that is here:

Any New Englanders heading to the JANE/AONE Rallye on May 2nd. Starts at Purgatory Chasm State Park in MA. and running through CT, MA and RI.

I see from the info that it can be run as a true TSD rallye if one chooses or simply as a great tour/drive in the corner of these picturesque states.

Info can be found here:

Talk soon,

I have just joined this group as I have a 1961 Jaguar 3.8 MK2 Historic Rally car and I am in the process of trying to sell it as I am a race enthusiast rather than a rally one. If anyone knows of someone in Europe who is thinking of rallying in any of the following and would like a Rally car please let me know.
it has FIVA papers ,which entitles it to rally in many international FIA recognized rally's such as Tour de Espana, Tour Auto Lissac, Tour Britannia, Winter Challenge, Rally of the Tests, Le Jog, Rallye des Alpes, Monte Carlo Rally etc: You would need to change the FIVA papers into your name.
Full details are on my website .

I have been given a 1974 XJ6L. I have been doing a bunch of research to find out what to look for as for problems, etc. This car hasn't moved in possibly 15 years. It was under a tarp in the woman's back driveway. In looking at it, it seems pretty solid aside from the passenger floor pan being nearly non existent.
I hope to get working on it over the winter and maybe even have it up and running and driving by spring. Hopefully I can glean information from many of you here. I am new to Jags but not new to cars, so diving into this is exciting not fearsome... although, I do know that may need to fear Lucas, the Prince of Darkness.. LOL
