Hi Marc
I have a lead on a solid but damaged 1954 XK 120 SE OTS in the USA. If you have any interest I'll put you in touch with the owner. I spoke to the owner and I think he might settle for a price between $20K to $25K. Regards. Rafe.
Hey Hello Mark,
The VRL has provided me with a source for many parts, information, contacts and cars over the last year. Also by linking my website to the VRL I have received many new friends to the museum so put a link on your page to the VRL to create more traffic to your site from all corners of the world.
hi Marc, nice to hear from you.
So far I have produced six dvd's ; 'Yesterday's Racers' volumes 1-4 (1 hour each), the Jim Clark Film Festival (90 minutes) and the official motorcycle DVD for Brooklands Museum (80 minutes).
You can view some little snippets of my productions at Mecanix TV at http://www.mecanix-tv.com/cars/british-cars.html
There are 5 different items there for you.
Yes, we are planing more classic car runs this year apart from the St.George's Day Run (www.stgeorgesdayrun.com), we are in the very early stages of planning one for Mid-Summers' Day on the 21st June.
Please feel free to e-mail me at gary@yesterdaysracers.com for prices and more info on the DVD's.
all the best, Gary C
Indeed quite a coincedence Marc. I had to choose between Smith Veglia and Lex Classics and knowing that Alex had recently sold the red one I figured he might be the best option. In fact I am very reluctantly selling my Jensen, but since I am living in the South of France most of the year there are other things occupying me....... I owned 4 Jensens and have sold 3 already, ouch...
Marc, are you involved in Lex Classics? My car will be in his showroom in a couple of weeks. I know the red car you drive quite well, it was one of our member's cars (I am chairman of the Ducth Jensen club) and it was sold by Lex Classics to France I think.
Hi there Marc, yes I am Dutch allright......and this car is mine. I restored it myself over a 4 year period having bought it after siting in a field in Cornwall (UK) for many years and ready to be taken to the scrapyard by the then owner.... It really was a scrapper, but I felt it needed to be rescued as the 541 is becoming quite rare.
