MONTEREY, Calif. (April 25, 2011) 
– Two Monterey Bay icons, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and The Monterey County Herald, have entered into a first-time publishing partnership to produce the souvenir program for the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix. The 100-plus page, full-color program will serve as a comprehensive source for everything happening throughout the Monterey Peninsula when the world’s best motorcycle riders compete over the July 22-24 weekend.

 

The Mazda Raceway marketing and communications departments will provide the primary editorial content that will include track data, race team bios and stats and features. The Monterey County Herald will design, secure advertising and produce the program, which sells for $10 and is available for purchase to the more than 100,000 ticket holders who visit Mazda Raceway over the three day event.

 

The Monterey County Herald is the leading print and interactive company in Monterey County, annually distributing more than 10 million newspapers that reaching 25.5 million readers, in addition to producing more than 25 magazines and special editions.
