1967 911S 73,000 original sunroof coupe

0 Going on the auction block in Monterey California at Russo and Steele August 2010. This a very special original un-restored two owner 1967 911 S sunroof coupe. It boasts factory options such as full black leather, working Webasto gasoline heater, Catacolor
glass, spare parts travel kit, right headrest, Original “Frankfurt” working Blaupunkt radio, loudspeaker, antenna, rear window wiper, fog lights and it has a 2” optional VDO amp gauge. The car has original A/C which still blows cold. All of the carpet and interior leather panels and seats are in very good original shape with no rips or tears including the rare leather dashboard. The wiper arms front and rear are the original silver ones for the car. The B model inside door pulls were installed by original owner.

This two owner car has it's original tool kit as well as a factory road kit. It also comes with most if not all work repair papers, including original sales invoice. It has only 73,115
original miles and all numbers match the Certificate of Authenticity. This car was specially ordered for a close friend of Chuck Stoddard.
Chrome on the door window and exterior parts are pit free and in very good condition. The window aluminum moldings are also in very good original shape. The car has a Talbot & Co. Berlin outside mirror. The paint and metal on this 911S is very good
and original with the exception of the right front fender, front bumper, and rear license plate panel which were repainted. The paint work only covered the necessary area after metal and lead repair work. You can see photos of a minor fender bender. (here on my web) http://www.porscheplanet.net/Classifieds/67911s/67911sinfo.htm ; The sun roof sliding panel works fine.
The engine works
great and the cylinder leakage percentage was excellent with only a loss of 4%
on all six cylinders. It has an upgraded ignition box (MSD) and new oil line hoses and return tubes. Just in the last few months the car has had the cylinder deflector cooling plates modified for cooler operating temperatures. At that time we pulled the exhaust off and photographed the exhaust valves ports and did a cylinder leakage test. (See photos here on my web site) http://www.porscheplanet.net/Classifieds/67911s/67911sinfo.htm ;

The five speed transmission shifts fine. It does have a very small noise in first gear. The car is equipped with a set of 5 Fuchs wheels (4 ½”). This car is driven monthly and has won every show it has ever entered. This 911S always wins its class in the un-restored division at Porsche concourse, easy entrant in
rallies/tours.
This is a great 1967 911S to complete a collection with a unique original two owner 911S.
