What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
Production Racer
This is Yenko Stinger #YS-100, These cars raced in D-Production class. This car was raced in Stage III tune (220+ hp), and loaded with most Yenko options. It was raced from 1966 through 1973 in SCCA, hill climbs and autocross. It saw action at Lime Rock, Bridgehampton, Thompson, Mt. Ascutney, and Mt. Equinox and was a Tri-State Champion in 1969.

This is a terrific action shot of #YS-100 running a 5-mile hill climb course. It took many awards for Fastest Time of the Day (F.T.D.) in hill climb competitions, against all comers, including Corvettes.

Rick,

The Yenko Stingers have got to be pretty rare race cars. One of our RMVR members also has one that he races with us. HIs name is Eric Schakel and he drives a 1966 YS. Eric isn't a VRL member yet, I'll have to give him a nudge to join here.

This is a shot of Eric giving "worker rides" during a lunch break at our 2007 Trans Am Invitational event at Pueblo Motorsports Park.

Have you ever considered trying the Pikes Peak Hill Climb in your YS? It requires a full 6-point roll cage, but the rest of the regulations are pretty much standard VMC stuff. Your car sounds like it could be very comptitive up there if it were set up for high altitude and suspension/tires adjusted for some dirt sections. See the Pikes Peak Hill Climb blog for more info and links to photos from this year's race.
