"Phil, this isn't your car. There are some differences, many details in the front and in the rear. Probably, this was one of the 5 (?) B52 cabriolets Vignale made. Another different B52 cabriolet survived, actually it's in Belgium."

"Fantastico!! That's the first picture I've ever seen of the car in its "Glory Days!" Who's the Babe??!! Maybe with all the photo's being posted someone, somewhere will pop-up with a clue as to where the car is now."

"I know the owner of the green/black B52. Unfortunately i don't know anything about the cabriolet. I suggest you to contact the last warehouse where the car was. Meanwhle i'll try to do a research at the Michelotti's register."

"Hi Chris... Welcome to fantasy land! The 2002 is a great car...dated a girl back around '71-'72 that owned one and fell more in love with the car than her... If I wasn't into Lancia's I would either own a 2002 or a P1800S…"

This is the sister car to the B52 Cabriolet. Notice the side chrome trim, the headlights, bumper and parking light treatment..each car a one-off design by Michelotti for custom coach builder Vignale.

Profile Information

About Me:
Been watching sports cars go zoom-zoom since Lime Rock Park opened...old Thompson Raceway, Bridgehampton, the Glen. First car in HS ('68) - a '59 Lancia Aurelia B24. Used to autocross and rally that car around New York and CT...then a '67 P1800S...a great road car and stunning to look at. Many years away from cars aside from an occasional weekend at Mid-Ohio but once again on-track with my two current Lancia projects.
What car(s) do you own?
'66 Lancia Flaminia 3C GT - Superleggera Coupe by Touring
'81 Lancia Beta Coupe 2.0
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
Would love to race or possibly just Vintage Rally a Fulvia, a P1800 or possibly a BMW 2002...basically still dreaming as I age!! Really hope in the next year or two to be able to drive my Flaminia 'cross-country to participate in Concorso and all the associated events...vintage sports cars are so much more apart/appreciated on the coasts than in the mid-west.
What clubs do you belong to?
Few
What do you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?
B4 I turn 60 would definitely like to attend some schools and someday have a ride to compete in the Pan Americana Carrera...have great early 50's video of this event if anyone interested with phenomenal in-car and aerial footage.
Location
2699 Harrison Road

Hi Phil - welcome to the VRL. I live near Knoxville and am an e-pat Brit. I spent 17 years in Michigan (worked for Ford) and have been looking for a Fulvia for the last 5 years. I'm a member of the UK Lancia Owner's Club. I recently bought a 1976 Alfa Romeo Spider. Alfa was always my second favorite mawque after Lancia - and Alfa parts and service are much more easily obtained here. If you find a good source for Fulvias (other than importing from Europe) please let me know! Hopefully see you at Mid Ohio or Road Atlanta some time. Cheers, Norm
